USA Part 3

 We fly from Los Angeles on 15th April and our friends pick us up from Atlanta airport late that evening.

It was my 60th birthday the next day!

After a lovely breakfast we walked around the local Town, Athens, which is a collage town.

Then in the evening sitting round the firepit, a lovely meal and cake!

17th April. After breakfast we drove to Savannah for two nights.

We had our own personal guides, in friends who used to live in Savannah.

The next day we walked around Fort Pulaski,

and Tybee Island.

before heading back to Savannah for a rooftop evening meal.

The next day after breakfast at the Little Duck Diner we drove to Charleston,

on the way we went to The Museum of The Mighty Eighth.

We had a horse drawn carriage drive around the town in the afternoon.

Then we drove back to Athens the next day and then onto the airport for our afternoon flight home. What an amazing holiday we had, full of wonderful moments we will cherish for ever.
