I do find it difficult keeping up with my blog and reading others.....I do read other blogs on my iPad but rarely get chance to comment, sorry.
anyway, apology over.
One weekend in June, while Hubby was away walking (and getting lost!) in Snowdonia, I invited two lovely friends over to stay.
I made an Elderflower and Lemon cake....
and we had lots of lovely cocktails....
and a few bubbles!
and a relaxing long breakfast the next morning.
They brought some gorgeous peonies....they got even better a few days later......
The cats sent a fathers day card to Hubby!
Then it was time to get ready for the annual Village Carnival. The school have entered a float the past four years (and came first every time) Competition was high....
The Carnival first started in 1968 so that was our theme....

That night, I snuggled up with Daisy to watch Ghost.
a different view on the way home one evening too.
