October and we had some sad news. My mother in law passed away suddenly at the start of the month. She was a creative, stylish, funny, kind and generous lady, always appreciative of anything you did for her and a very special person, we will miss her so very much.
There was some walking...of course. One with my mum and her dog to Pickerings Pasture.
Another lovely early morning one from our house.
And one evening Hubby and I took a stroll on the hill opposite our house.
The garden is slowly going to sleep ready for winter.
We had some last raspberries and one last strawberry!
I made some apple turnovers with the apples picked from our old apple tree.
My lovely friend came round with her dog and we had a good catch up at the pub!
And on another evening I went to see Jack Absolute Flies Again with a cheeky Italian meal before!
Another local walk...
It was around this time my mother in law passed away and one of our lovely neighbours brought round a card and these beautiful yellow roses.
More walks....are you growing tired of my walks?
This one was with Hubby over near Rishworth
The following photos were on one of my solitary walks after work on the tops near home.

I will come back tomorrow to post part 2 of October.
