Beautiful Budapest

So sorry this post has taken me so long to write!
The last two days of our cruise in August and we arrived at Budapest.

 We visited Godollo Palace

and our last evening on board.

It was a glorious day the next morning as we headed to the airport but not before a little sight seeing.

So that was the cruise with my lovely mum way back in August.....wonder what happened in September?

 Next stop Vienna

 What a glorious city!
We really didn't have enough time there to do it justice that is the problem with a guided holiday.

 Of course there was time for a slice of Sacher Torte!

and that evening our waiters were dressed as Mozart!

 Then after a delicious evening meal a Viennese Concert at the Sofiensaal Concert Hall

The next day was a very wet and windy day....the only day we had bad weather for the whole holiday.

We arrived at Bratislava, capital city of Slovakia. A really interesting place a mixture of beautiful medieval buildings standing side by side with buildings of concrete blocks built during the Communist era.

It was such a shame as I am sure it would be a very pretty place to visit in the sunshine.

They do have some really interesting statues too!

 and that night the ship was taken over by pirates!

During that night we arrived at our final destination Budapest.........
