So we enter December...........
Leaving school one December evening.
Time to dust off the Christmas brooches!
We have had a cold start to the month and snow before Christmas this year.
What's this?
We attended the Village Christmas Festival...
Warmed up with pie and peas....
We attended a friends 50th Birthday party....
It was soon time to make props and scenery for the school Christmas play
And I have had fun playing with my new signage....
We went to the cinema in Halifax to see Murder on the Orient Express
Cold starts to the day.....
The School tree won the Christmas tree festival at Church
I made an origami star using photo copies of the story of the birth of Jesus....
Paper chains made from photocopies of Christmas Carols......
And the children wrote letters of Hope
There were about 30 trees in total.....
These photos were taken when we took the tree up the evening before the Christmas Fair
Daisy stopped me ironing.....
I gave up and watched a Christmas Classic as the snow fell outside.
I met friends for a Festive Picnic Bench.....it was delicious!
Daisy and Misty helped with the Christmas decorations.....
I miss having a real Christmas tree but our three darlings would cause so much havoc it's not worth the hassle!
I made 12 white pom poms for .........
Hubby's Christmas Jumper....He won 1st Prize at Work!!
Some friends and I had a lovely (if a bit cold) wander around the Christmas Market at the Piece Hall in Halifax
lots of lovely local produce
Milo doesn't seem to like having his photo taken!

and a Christmas party or two....
And we still have three days to go in school then a mad dash around to do some Christmas shopping.....so I am finally up to date.....only taken me all year to catch up!!
