November

Well November has arrived. It has been dark all day. The rain came down sideways all morning and the trees across the valley were swirling around.

I do not think there will be many leaves left on the trees by the end of the day.

I had another day at my sewing machine and made this....
...a bag made with the fabric supplied with Cath Kidston's book, SEW!

It was quite easy to make and had me thinking I could make some out of different fabric but I am a frustrated person when it comes to sewing, it makes me mad and I get annoyed with it when it doesn't go right so I don't think I will push my luck!
Someone sent me this photo on an email-now this cat has got the patience of a saint!

Well, back to my sewing till it gets too dark.

Back to school tomorrow, "sigh!"

Good V Bad

Always start with the bad.
Bad-(some 'badder' than others!)
Elderly Great Aunt died and it's her funeral on Monday.
Lucy killed a shrew yesterday.
Trees being chopped down.
Report writing.
Hubby working long hours and getting back in time to just go to bed.
The slugs ate my beans.

Good-
Someone we care about seems to be on the mend.
Sun is shining.
Lucy must of brought a field mouse in yesterday and it got away from her in the bedroom and it casually wandered out from under the bed last night (caught and returned to the garden).
Four weeks till end of term then a long, hopefully sunny, crafty, friend seeing six weeks.
Country Living magazine to read tonight in bed.
Cath Kidston goodies I got from St Ives...
