I recently popped into Halifax to buy a birthday gift. While I was there I thought it was about time I visited the Minster. ( I have lived in the area for 10 years and never been inside!)
Apparently it isn't open on a Saturday, so I still haven't been inside!
I was so impressed with Mother Nature one morning when I saw this beautiful pattern on the velux window, made by Jack Frost.
Sorry for the amount of photos but it was rather stunning!
and we woke to snow one day.....a first for the cats!
Hubby spent time throwing snowballs at the cats (they were cosy inside and he threw them at the window! that is as near as they came to it!)
Of course Hubby and I went for a walk.
We walked up from the village and along the lanes.

And then home for a coffee and a cake.

There was a glorious sunrise one morning.....
I am afraid our boiler has died....we are wearing gloves in the lounge and putting those fleecy blankets to good use!
Things are blooming in the garden and the greenhouse.
