June

You just know when I have the name of a month as a blog post title it is going to be a long one. So grab a coffee and maybe a biscuit and join me in my round up of June...

June was lovely and sunny...
Plenty of meals outside.

A bit of sewing in the garden too.

The garden of course has been at its best during June...

And the cats have been enjoying it too.

Although Daisy doesn't come out as much as Misty and Milo 

I finished the cats for my friend...

We popped to The Pines to do some more preparation for decorating later in the year...of course we had a few hours off the sanding to enjoy the area...

Here in the UK it was Fathers Day in June. I am grateful to my dad, my step dad and my lovely father-in law for all their love, encouragement and love over the years.

I baked some very squishy chocolate brownies for the year six children's sleepover at school.

And of course I am still walking.

This one was done with friends around Cowm Reservoir in Whitworth which ended with a yummy afternoon tea!

But mainly I have been doing my usual local walks on my own.

One house I walk past often is Moor Shaw Head Farm up in Soyland had some ceramic birds for sale. The lady has her own kiln and makes them in her house. She also has a lovely garden so it was lovely to chat to her. Of course two birds came home with me!

Some times it is nice to take in some of our industrial heritage on a walk. This was a 5 mile walk Hubby and I did along the canal to Elland and back.
