We drove through some storms on the way to Norfolk at the start of our trip.
A walk around the village we are staying in revealed some lovely sights.
The next day we visited Hillside Animal Sanctuary.
Then an evening stroll down to Salhouse Broad
The next day we went to a National Trust property, Blickling Hall
During the second world war the RAF were based in some of the buildings on the estate.
Hubby and I had a knock about with the tennis....in that heat it nearly killed me!
Then on the next day we headed for the North of Norfolk and the coast, stopping off at Holt...
Then on to Wells next the Sea...a lovely lunch and a stroll around
and then Cley net the Sea
Apple crumble ice cream....yummy!
We finished the day at Cromer.
We had tickets for the End of Pier show,
So this is the first part of our week in Norfolk....it really is such a lovely place to visit and a week will not be enough time to see all it has to offer.
