Walking in January

A walk above Todmorden today 

We visited Crosby Blitz Beach where rubble from bombed buildings in Liverpool were brought. 

On another day we walked around the hills of Saddleworth above Uppermill.

Then I squeezed an afternoon walk in one Monday.

Went to the cinema to watch tis last week...scary stuff!

Easter 2022

 Easter was lovely. Two weeks off work and I was busy.Pull up a comfy chair, grab a brew and lets take a (long) look at what we got up to.

I did my mural (see previous post) I walked, we went away to the Pines and I ate way too much chocolate!

It was our little darlings 7th birthday at the beginning of April. It was also my birthday while we were away at The Pines.

I went to my mum's for a couple of days. It was my aunts funeral and although it was a very sad day we caught up with many family members we had not seen for over 20 years.

The day after we took mum's dog 'Frankie' for a walk to Pickering's Pasture.

The cherry tree my dad planted in the very early 80's is in full bloom in my mum's front garden.

I sold Easter chicks to my colleagues at school made by the Yorkshire Cat Rescue Crafters and made an amazing £104, I of course purchased a few myself and left a few on my lovely neighbours doors on the Thursday.

We went down to the Pines on Good Friday. We left it late to miss the traffic.

I had an great birthday on the Saturday. I had taken some presents and cards down with me to open.

                                                
We went for a lovely walk in the sunshine from Borth y Gest along the coast path.

We also had a dull day but we had lots of work to do at The Pines so we kept busy.

One sunny day we went to Llandanwg. Had lunch and a walk along the beach.

As you can see, we had some really lovely weather!

We went to Barmouth one day

and our tea sat on the sea front watching the sun set.

I visited the five story chairs in Harlech.

That evening we went out for a pizza to celebrate my birthday.

Another day we spent the day on Anglesey.

Then on the last full day we went to Beddgelert 

With a walk in the sand dunes near Harlech before we left.
