Those days between

As promised here is my 'Those Days between' post.

On Thursday 28th December we went to the Yorkshire Dales to do a favourite walk of ours.
We parked the car in Langcliffe and walked up the main road to Stainforth.

 From there up the footpath towards Catrigg Force.

 It was a sunny but bitterly cold day.

 The sun was starting to go down as we dropped back down into Langcliffe.

A very Late lunch in Settle and as it went dark we drove home.

 and the next morning we woke to this!

 Milo wasn't impressed!

 We were up and out early. We are so lucky that we are able to walk out of our front door and go for such a lovely walk.

 then back home and I walked up to the top of garden.......to find that the greenhouse heating hadn't been on and my prized collection of pelargoniums had died!!

 Yesterday we went to Sheffield to see the Eric Ravilious Exhibition at the Millennium gallery

 We popped into the Winter Gardens too.

Then today I spent the morning clearing up my plants in the greenhouse, about half of my collection are definitely past saving but I might have a few coming through in the spring.....we'll see!

and tonight we went out for a curry! never been heard of to be out on New Years Eve these days! Back home for fizz and a bit of TV
