strange and sad times.....

What a strange and sad time we are living through all around the globe...
We are living in unprecedented times, I keep wanting to wake up and it to be all back to normal, I know it won't be normal for a very long time. Everyone's life has been turned upside down and I fear many more have some dark and difficult times ahead.
I don't want to dwell on the sadness here.

I want to share March so far with you.....

I needed to go to the Osteopath to get my back sorted, it was a lovely stroll into the village and after a couple of visits and taking it easy I can say it is loads better,

Because of my bad back, we have not been doing much at the weekends.

 I found spring had arrived in the garden.

 At school Class three were out drawing the trees as we were looking at the work of David Hockney.

 I do love daffodils.....

Having to take it easy I did manage a bit of sewing!

 Last Sunday we had a stroll up to the reservoir.... 

 Back in my garden....more signs of spring.

 My lovely cats do make me smile in such a crazy time.

So tomorrow the school shuts. I for now will still be going into school to look after the children of Key Workers but for how long who knows. 
Our friend in Venice has faced the scary time and in a WhatsApp conversation with me said "it is like living through a silent war" 
Life will not be the same for some people at the end of this but nature is carrying on, spring is arriving, the flowers are breaking open and the birds are singing. The sun will shine and one day we will all be together again.
