July part 2

 This is going on later than I had planned. But here goes...July part 2.

We are now officially in a drought but this was a local reservoir at the end of July. The stone bridge is usually deep under water.

We also managed to go to the Gold Cup at Oulton Park

It was not very busy which is a shame.

I was rather taken with this bunting!

and Daisy helped Hubby with his work.

This is Bill, one of my father-in-laws cats, he's old now but before my father in law got him (or rather before Bill adopted my father in law!) he live rough for a while when his previous owner died.

At the end of July I went away for five days with my mum to Betws y coed in Wales.

First stop, Bodnant Garden

Then checked into the Waterloo Hotel.

The next day was a day in Llandudno.

The next was a day in Betws y coed and a drive in the mountains.

Lunch at Llanwrwst

The next day I took my mum to see The Pines and we had a lovely day in Barmouth and on our last day called in Conwy on the way home.

Cake shop in Conwy....they were huge cakes!

So that rounds up July....Next post August!
