The end of February

It does feel like spring has arrived. 

February was a tad dull and grey. I will post the rest of my photos from February here so I can do a March post next time.

Way back in February we had a lovely Valentines day.

We ordered a delicious Vegetarian meal from our fantastic local Farm Shop. Baked it and ate it and had enough left over for our main meal the next day!

The next day we went on a walk from Sowerby Bridge along the canal to Luddendenfoot then up and back along the lanes.

Walking along the canal we saw lots of Industrial Heritage at the start of the walk.

Then we came off the canal here (Luddendenfoot) and walked up hill to follow the lanes back to Sowerby.

I have also been doing my evening walks, staying local.

These photos were taken on the walk I do most often. 1.7 miles in 40 minutes with some hills...

It has been grey and dull on most of them but I am looking forward to seeing it change as the seasons change.

I am making some cats for a friend but I needed to do a test one to alter the pattern a little...

Another walk was a walk to our local village, Ripponden.

An so we come to the end of February. As you can see I have kept up with my walking and do hope you didn't get too bored. I am so glad spring has arrived and we are starting to see the earth waking from her slumber. I am grateful we here in the UK are seeing the vaccine rolling out and Hubby has had his and I have mine next week. I am pleased my family and friends are safe and well and optimistic we are going to have a lovely late summer. Keep safe everyone.
