July

After a wet June, July has been kinder to us. Lots of sunshine and time spent outdoors. It was sunny for our school sports day too.
The roses had a good June and July (just starting to finish now) I need to rethink the garden for August, it is always a bit dead looking by the end of summer, I am sure I can extend the flowering season.

Nearly every evening I can enjoy a coffee in the garden, often accompanied by a cat or two.

I made fudge as a thank you to all those who donated for my Pawsome Tea party....with the Online donations we made a total of £250....that is amazing.

Class five put on their first ever Summer Production.....Pirates of the Curry Bean. It was very funny!

Driving Home

Mum's dahlias are doing well outside. I need to watch them as the slugs love them....any signs of slug and snail damage and off they go back into the greenhouse!

Mum and I took her dog Frankie to Walton Hall Park on a sunny Saturday

Then Hubby and I joined Diane and her other half at Wentwood Woodhouse We Wonder Festival on and equally sunny Sunday!

What a fantastic magical day it was too!

We had enough time to pop into Wentworth Gardens and garden centre.

Just to finish off a perfect day.
Back home in my own garden I am enjoying the many varieties of geranium we have.

and a trip to Touchstones with Class 3....

 An Ancient Greek workshop.....

....with Ice cream in the park!

So my friends, I enter my last week at school before our summer holiday. I have lots planned for my time away from school, holidays, visiting friends, friends visiting us and hopefully a bit of creativity.
One question before I go. I know some bloggers using Word Press have adverts popping up on their blogs with out them knowing....does this happen with Blogger? are you seeing things I am not while I compose this? I fear Blogging is heading that way and if so I think it is such a shame. Another nail in the coffin for Blogging. Instagram is so easy to use and to look at although I don't think it is as interactive or as good as blogging to be honest, I do both. I will keep plodding on.
