Head full of Kittens

The kittens at 4 weeks old
I am so sorry. My poor blog is so very neglected!

All the above were taken the day we brought them home
I really do want to carry on with it but I just can't seem to find the time these days to write all the things I want to tell you about. This could mean when I do actually start writing (if the kittens don't stand all over the keyboard!) the post turns into a very long one and well....it never gets finished!
I will plod on........
So first the story behind why 3 not 2 kittens as originally planned.

Milo
Misty
I contacted our local Cats Protection in April to see if they had any kittens needing a home.
"yes" came the reply, "a litter of 5 had been born and would be ready to take home at the beginning of June"
Misty and Daisy
We could go and pay a deposit to reserve the two we wanted when they were 4 weeks old. Off we went and on the way decided we would like a boy and a girl.
We arrived and before we saw the kittens, their foster mum told us there was only one boy and the others were girls....we'll have the boy we said....even though at that time we hadn't seen them.
Daisy
Mummy cat was beautiful and calm mainly white with black spots. The only boy was mainly black with a cute white moustache (Milo) Then we had to choose a little girl....there was a mainly white one, a black one, a mostly grey one and a grey and white one.

As we had chosen the little boy and he was black we decided to have one of the greys....but which one?

I fell in love with the white and grey (Daisy) and Hubby fell in love with the mainly grey (Misty) We were there for an hour unable to make the decision.
In the end we went for Misty....handed over the money and arranged to pick them up on the 7th of June.
All that evening I kept thinking about the little grey and white....she reminded me of Lucy a little and she was the smallest of the litter.
All the next day Hubby kept saying we could swap the greys....I couldn't do that!
we could have the two greys and not the little boy...I couldn't do that!
and in the end he declared he was beaten and we would have to have three!
Ironing has become a bit of a problem!
I phoned the foster mummy and dropped off another deposit the next day!
And so we have three....they are very cute, very crazy and very loved.

(More of a catch up next post....and not so many cat photos!)
