Yes I am not finished with August just yet.
I am sitting here in my workroom with the sun lighting up the trees across the valley. They are slowly turning and look ablaze and glorious. It is my last 'me' day of my Autumn half term and I am stitching poppies for our school and church Remembrance Installation.
Way back in August the weather wasn't so kind when we went to the Oulton Park Gold Cup
It rained heavily all day!
The entertainment came from the 1960's
Then we had a wedding over the Bank Holiday up in the North East
On the way to our B&B we stopped off at Washington Old Hall
Then we arrived at our B&B in Alnwick
The wedding was lovely......
The next day we drove home taking the scenic route.....
I especially loved this Sunflower Installation in the walled garden at Cragside
Then we walked around the house...
Then home and just before we slipped out of August our lovely friends came to see us and we showed them around the Piece Hall, Halifax and Bankfield Museum
So that was August.....roll on September....better late than never!
