During the Autumn half term Hubby and I managed a couple of days away.
We started in Lincoln and made straight for the cathedral.
It is a breathtaking building.
One of my favourite places in the cathedral was a tiny chapel painted by Duncan Grant.
Inside the castle grounds there is a Victorian Prison
It also holds one of the four copies of the Magna Carta

It was dark by the time we found our B&B for the evening, Kingthorpe Manor Farm.
We went out for dinner and then back for a good nights sleep.
The next morning I was able to take some photos. The B&B have a small holding and lots of interesting places to stay.....

and then after breakfast off we went to Hull!
after looking around The Deep we walked towards the Old Town
We looked around the Maritime Museum
There is so much to see we will need to return another day
