October part 2

 So October continued.

I had to go to Liverpool for a course for work, we were inside for most of the day but I took a few photos as I made my way back for the bus.

On one of my local walks I walk past this delightful roadside garden.

And as you can see the nights are drawing in and it is often dark before I get home from a walk.

I managed to get a walk in 'The Beech Cathedral' a local wood called Turner Wood but I think the nick name suits it much more.

and I went with two friends to watch 'Mrs Harris goes to Paris' a lovely film with wonderful costumes!

Back home and a few photos of the roses in the front garden.

Brimmycroft Lane on 19th October

It has been such a mild autumn, it has taken a long time for the leaves to turn.

Very often I have to stop on the way home to take a short walk as the lights are fading as I drive.

It has been a good year for mushrooms...we even had one in our lawn!

I took Hubby to see the Beech Cathedral.

I made a large pumpkin. I didn't decorate for Autumn this year, my heart wasn't in it.

In my last post I mentioned my beautiful mother in law had passed away and we had a beautiful Buddhist service for her. Stories and memories were shared and it was lovely to see her friends and to talk about her.

Then after the service Hubby and I went to the Pines for a few days to relax and take it easy.
