I am still playing catch up.....
June saw me saying goodbye to my Kindred Spirit as she set back off to Montserrat.
We had a good gossip and a lovely meal and she gave me a lovely present, a set of cards made from the print of our garden she did a couple of years ago....aren't they fab?
It also saw me here for a spa weekend with some of the girls from work.
Kilhey Court.
It started with a rather delicious afternoon tea...then drinks....
Then a rather wonderful full body massage!
And a scrumptious evening meal.
and a filling breakfast the next morning.....gosh we did eat a lot!
The poppies have long gone, they were beautiful in the short while they were here.
And our rose over the arch was the best I have ever seen it and it smelt divine.
Considering the neglect our poor garden has had a few pretty moments this summer.
At the end of term we did some fun things before we broke up for the summer holiday. I went to Bramall Hall with class 4
And we had a go at hapa-zome with the craft club.
We made paper in class 4
Did some observational drawing in class 2
and colour blending in class 3
and also made vehicles in class 3
I went to Blackpool Pleasure beach with class 5
We were all ready for the holiday when it finally arrived.
Hubby and I went down to the Flying Legends Airshow at Duxford in July.
The day started of with showers but there is plenty to see in doors at the museum.
Then while the sun was out we walked around the stalls and Vintage Village.
Entertained by the Manhattan Dolls.
and Laurel and Hardy!

Then it was time for the airshow.
(at this point Hubby had to pop in to put captions to the photos, except the spitfires....I know my spitfires!)
