I have to say I really don't mind this lockdown....I mean I am seeing more of the Hubby (not sure he feels the same!) I still go to school, albeit not as often as normal but enough to see other human beings, I am able to sew, read, do yoga, paint, sketch, bake, do the garden to my hearts content. I do miss my friends and family but even doing zoom 'get together's' makes this a little easier. I don't miss shops etc but I do miss the lovely outings we go on but I am loving the local walks with Hubby......
In the garden the blossom started in April....
We went for a walk in Rough Hey Wood, we were just a tad too early for the bluebells....

| They were just starting to carpet the woodland floor... |
The wild garlic was also abundant.
We walked towards the village....
and then back along the river.
Remember those pom poms?
As a school we were making a video for the children, something to let them see we were all ok and thinking about them.

The video is here if you want to see it!
https://youtu.be/o7_iqp6bsJ0I made a coconut crunch tray bake....
and at school we made our own snacks.....
Driving home from school the trees are starting to green up...
I don't see a lot of traffic on my journey to and from school normally but these days it is even quieter. (although I have noticed more and more traffic as we went further into lockdown)
I received two belated birthday gifts. Some lovely rainbow tulips and a gorgeous Bee cushion..
and the tulips in my garden were doing really well too.
I continue to make masks for my work collegues.
So we came to the end of April. Tonight there is an update from Boris about our situation, we now have the highest death rate from Covid 19 in Europe, so many lives touched by this terrible virus.
