So we celebrated a friends birthday in style at the start of September...
Afternoon tea on the KWVR Pullman!The food was delicious and the bubbles added to the experience!
As you can see we had such a lovely day...the service was excellent and the whole thing well worth the money.I have loved my sunflowers this year...they grew so tall, not huge flower heads but big enough...We have had some lovely weather this autumn so far...
Only one plum though...Tons of beans, kale, strawberries and tomatoes too.A couple of Saturdays ago, I visited my mum and we took her dog to the park....It's the park from my childhood. A huge Victorian park, The park was opened in 1900 to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria. It is on the former Appleton House estate and was created by the local council with funds collected via a public subscription.And just a few more photos of my sunflowers...
I found this bunch of flowers in our local Co-op and treated myself!
