Like Christmas!
I am looking forward to finishing school on Friday. We have had the Nativity plays videoed so they can be put on the school website. We have had a few class Christmas parties, more to follow this week , we have had Christmas jumper day where we raised money for a local hospice, Father Christmas made an appearance (socially Distanced) for Class 1 & 2, we had a Christmas scene made from recycled material competition and a Class 5 Santa Dash. This week will mainly be Christmas crafting, films, parties, Christmas dinner, but no Christmas service at church, no Staff Christmas Dinner or night out, no Christmas Disco for the children and no relaxing of the hand washing, sanitising, cleaning, we must stay in our bubbles and keep the windows open.
Despite all this, I think the children are oblivious to the changes and are still excited.
Here are a few photos from school from these past few weeks...
We joined the neighbours for a sing along with mulled cider and jacket potatoes...all Socially Distanced of course!
I called in at my local farm shop on the way home and bought a wreath for our front door.
It will be a Vegan Christmas for us this year!
