Time to catch up with October.....
October and we had planned to attend Pickering 1940's weekend but it was such awful weather we didn't go.
I did manage a lovely workshop at Hope and Elvis with the fantastically talented Emily Jo Gibbs
After doing a sample piece, I was inspired by this wonderful piece (below) by Emily to have a go at a picture of my mum.
So I gathered my silk organza and jumped in.....
a brief stop for lunch....
and no I have not finished it! another unfinished piece of work for the pile!!
We had some fantastic sunrises and sunsets in October
and I treated myself to a new hat and scarf...

and then I enjoyed another lovely High Tea at Grand Pacific with my best friend and God daughters.
and another catch up with friends after work one evening!
We really did enjoy the mild autumn days in the garden looking back at the photos...
