October half term part two.......

It was a lovely half term. Lots of doing but also lots of not doing much.
We collected apples from the garden to make apple crumble....
Played a lot in the garden....mainly chase the twig!
Treated myself to a phone upgrade......
of course that means a new cover......
saw my favourite film, 'Yanks' on the shelf in the library.
Hubby and I celebrated our 21st Wedding Anniversary ( a few days early) with a delicious meal at Grand Pacific in Manchester
We had a lovely walk in Saddleworth too

The cats helped with the flat pack table!
and Daisy looked like she had three front legs!
and look at that look of adoration from Milo with Hubby, he adores him so much!
And I have been reading this book......just as wonderful as the Northern Lights Trilogy.
When we went to Goddards (see previous post) We called in at Thirsk but I didn't put any photos on my post for some reason......so here are a few. Hubby and I stayed at this hotel on one of our first holidays together over 25 years ago
And that was my half term holiday.....Still a few bits and pieces to tell you about from October and then we might get a post about November in before the end of the month......what do you think?
