Postcard from North Wales 2

Day two on our North Wales holiday.

 we head off to Porthmadog

 Then walk over to Borth-y-Gest

 We watched a flock of oyster catchers on the beach

 every now and again we had to take the coastal path then drop back down onto the beach

we could see Criccieth Castle in the distance

 Then we turn back and walk back towards Borth-y-Gest

 with a view of Harlech castle across the water

and a bit of a snack

Then back to Porthmadog

A lovely day.

So thank you so much if you replied to my last post, it is lovely to know people are still reading my ramblings and want me to carry on!

So we arrived at Harlech in the early afternoon and stumbled upon the Harlech Triathlon.

They have had a new visitor centre made at the castle, attached to an old Victorian building, and a new bridge to connect the two.

a late lunch

 Then a little stroll along the beach....
