At the end of July when I finished school, my mum and I visited Sudley House in Liverpool to see this exhibition.
I have been making poppies for our local church
We also had a few days away in the south of England. We stayed in a lovely little cottage which used to be a piggery on a farm in Wiltshire.

The first day was grey and misty. We decided to visit a National Trust Property not too far away from where we were staying, Stourhead.

On another day we visited Kingston Lacey over the border in Dorset, another National Trust property. We will definitely get our money's worth from our membership this year!

Back in the village they were displaying scarecrows
and we had a lovely evening meal at the Lamb.
The next day was a glorious summer day so we decided to go to the seaside!
Lyme Regis.
I do love a trip to the seaside.
And all too soon it was time to leave the Piggery at Cools Farm.
But we were not quite finished with Wiltshire.
On the way home we visited Great Chalfield Manor and Gardens and Lacock Abbey!!
Told you we like getting our moneys worth!

On to Lacock Abbey....
We did a little more during my summer holiday but we have reached August at this point in my blog (what do you mean it is September tomorrow????
So August will be published in September!
