April and the start of our holiday

We have had some cracking weather this April.

 The flowers were all over the place, daffodils, blossom and bluebells all out at the same time.

 This is the main road through our village, last month it was the crocus then now the daffodils and cherry blossom.

 And it was the same in our garden.

Milo, Misty and Daisy celebrated their 4th birthday on the 4th of April.

 At school we had our annual Easter Bonnet and Egg competitions.....

 And then I finished work for the Easter Break and Hubby and I had a lovely Easter holiday in North Wales.

 We drove to Harlech, our usual base for our trips to the area and the first thing we always do is a walk (usually in the evening) stroll along the Dwyryd estuary.

You can just make out Portmeirion on the left across the water.

 The next day we drove down to Aberdovey to meet up with some friends for lunch.

 and then a drive to Castell y Bere

 We spotted a red kite on the way....

So we end this post on day two of our holiday in Wales. I promise I will bring you some more very soon.
