I guess this must be October then!

Yes October is almost over and I have lots to show you.
I was planning to take my year five and sixes to see the Roy Lichtenstein Exhibition at the Tate Liverpool so I went a couple of weeks before to check out facilities and to book the lunch room etc.

And when we returned with the class a couple of weeks later we had a great time.

I always feel inspired when I visit a gallery and I went home to play in my workroom.....of course Daisy wanted to play too!

I did some printing then some Helen Hallows inspired collages in my sketch book and one as a gift for my lovely friend Diane.

Tomatoes from my mums greenhouse

I finished this book. This was my favourite page......so beautiful.

Hubby and I went to Stockport to one of the monthly vintage weekend markets.

It brought back some lovely memories of my time spent in Stockport as a student....many years ago.

and we called in at the museum too.

We had Harvest Festival at church

A lovely belated birthday present from a friend-my birthday is in April!

We had some major events in October plus a very enjoyable half term holiday but I will tell you about those soon. The rest of the week is also very busy so I doubt I will be back before the weekend and by then we will be into November. Still the nights are drawing in and I won't have any excuse not to update my blog.

  1. Lovely post, love the cat photos. Are you a crazy cat lady? I'd enjoy that exhibit too, I'll bet the kids did.

  6. I didn't know Stockport had such interesting corners - we pass through many times but mainly on the motorway - I will definitely be stopping next time. I just love those retro kitchen units if I had those I wouldn't want a new kitchen.
    I love your little pictures.
