So January has nearly come to and end. I think I will be glad to see the back of it to be honest.
It started well with a lovely walk on Norland Moor with friends and their crazy dog! Then back to our house for mulled cider and mince pies.On a wet miserable day, Hubby and I walked in Saddleworth.
It was very wet for a good couple of weeks, I got ill and was at home for a few days and it seemed very gloomy.
The following photos are a bit random, just snaps of my days through out January.
The girls don't get on so I had to build a wall of cushions!!
I fed the birds the last of the mince pies with their daily seed mix.
As you can see I seemed to spend a lot of time on the sofa with the girls.
The greenhouse is showing signs of waking up.

I am making cat nip octopuses for The Yorkshire Cat Rescue for them to sell at craft fairs.
The following are photos from a short walk after work one evening.

So I will post this tonight as I don't think anything too exciting will happen before the end of January...but if it does I'll just have to do another post!!
So much snowy beauty for me to enjoy, as I swelter down under!
ReplyDeleteYou are so good with all your bracing walks, but oh my, those blue skies were deceiving I bet. Glad to see some wine and sweet things have been taken too. January has been challenging for most of us I think. Onward and upward m'dear.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I think February is worse, gloomier than January. Regardless of the weather, you have taken some beautiful photographs, and Spring has nearly sprung . . . nearly.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing such lovely pictures. Your cats are so sweet even if they don't get on too well. You have made a great start in the greenhouse. I'm afraid mine is still a holding bay for the garden furniture. I shall have to free up the space very soon I think.
